Hi all. 2008 was amazing, but it is time to throw out 2008 and welcome in 2009! This year should be pretty exciting.
For those of you who didn't know, I went to a track day at Thunderhill hosted by BlackTrax Performance. I would like to thank Natalie and Jei and the Downey's for making it all work out.
Second of all, I would like to thank everyone for a wonderful 2008 season. I was able to win STX Novice. I am really excited about that. I'll be picking up the plaque from Isaac over the weekend; and my championship jacket. w00t.
Lastly, I've updated a bunch of pages. There are still a few dead links here and there, but hopefully that'll be take care of over the weekend!

Hi all. Just more updates to the calendar. Listed a few events for January, February, and March.
I've decided to try and give Redline Time Attack a try for March. We are going to have to see how many is though. The good news is that the event is during Spring Break. However, the tentative SFR Round 4 would be that day, too. We'll have to see.
As for the car, the car is going well. I'll be replacing a stripped wheel stud, as well as doing my rear brakes something this break. And, I'll be having a few other mods done to help make the car a little more competitive next season!
That is all for now. Later!

1. I added a Sponsorship Proposal to the contact page. It has a bunch of general information and a proposal to potential sponsors.
2. New stuff added to the wishlist.
3. Calendar updated.
That is all for now. Later.

Hi all. More updates for you peeps. First off, I'll be auto-x'ing in Oakland this weekend. Will be running run group 2. For those of you who have never been auto-x'ing before, you should definitely give it a try. Come on out and check it out. It is a great way for guys to improve your driving. Her are some other "updates."
1. Auto-X School registration is now open. In addition, it has been rescheduled for June 22nd. Additionally, the auto-x on June 22nd has been cancelled.
2. I won't be attending the Subaru Track Day on June 20th. My brother is having a graduation ceremony on that day, and I need to be there for that.
3. By the request of Dan (joebobbucket), I've added ChickMagnet Polo shirts into my CafePress shop. There are a bunch of little things here and there that I can still add. If you have a particular interest in a certain item, let me know.
That's all I can think of at the moment. Later.

Hi all. Just updated the calendar again. Quick little update. Auto-X'ed the last few weekends. Candlestick, Oakland, and this weekend, Mather Field. Other notes, I signed up for the Subaru Track Day being hosted by Mann Engineering. Anyone that is interested in track days should definitely give it a try. Unfortunately, all the novice spots are full. There are however intermediate and advance spots still open. Check out I-Club for more info.

Hi all. Just doing a bunch of updates for the site. Getting some new links on and what not. Also changed out some pictures. I am going to try to change up the pics every few months.
Auto-X went okay on Sunday. I did a 49.4xx, a 49.7xx, and 50.030 +3 (which I apparently DNF'ed). Not too bad. The course really didn't work in my favor. There were a few corners where I had to give up a lot of speed to make it through the turn. I think that's where the turbo's had the advantage. Once the turbo's kicked in, that's where they really excelled. That's okay though. I had a fun time. Looking forward to the next event. Divisional in not this coming weekend but the next. From here on out, just really learning how to drive the car. There's still a lot that I have to learn, but it should go well. I still need to make an appointment for an alignment. I am going to try to upgrade the rear sway bar. Get a little more rotation out of the rear. I think the 235/40's are contributing to not being able to get the tail out. That's okay though.
There is currently a group buy happening on I-Club. Trying to get a "bulk" discount for "Chick Magnet" t-shirts. I haven't gotten one my self, because the bulk of the orders from the group buy are for me anyways, but I hear from others that have bought them, that they turn out really well. Definitely something I am happy about.
Anyways, I am out!!

Hi all. Short little update for you all. Auto-X on Sunday at Oakland. That should be fun. I registered for the California Divisional Series for the end of the month at Golden Gate Field.. I am really looking forward to that. It'll be over two days. I think 3 runs one day, and three runs the next. Should be fun.
On another note, I am thinking about attending SubieFest in September. That's the same day as Round 15, but I might be in a place where I have enough points where it won't really matter. I am really thinking about doing the time-attack. Just run it as is and see how the car fairs.
March 31st, 2008 - 1:22 AM
HI all. Not too many updates. Friday was the run-around day. I had new RT-615 tires mounted to my second set of wheels. I had SpeedElement do a steering rack install. Thanks to those guys.
As for yesterday. Auto-X at Golden Gate Field. Fun, fun.. 40.0xx +1, 40.2xx +1, and 39.7xx.
I am going to need to do a height adjustment in the near future. Going to try to do that before Round 5.
I am out. Later.
March 13th, 2008 - 6:30 PM

March 11th, 2008
Hi all. Just updated my calendar. Nothing new really. Went to Hot Import Nights on Saturday. Pics are on I-Club somewhere. Went auto-x'ing on Sunday at Golden Gate Field. I still haven't found any pictures of my car. Once I do find it though, I'll link to it. My times were 58.4xx, 58.3xx, and 57.7xxx. Not too bad. Getting a little better at it. I am out. Later!!
February 4th, 2008 - 11:10 PM
Hi all. Had an awesome auto-x yesterday. There are some pics online which you can check out here. Post #85 and newer. Great course. Too bad that I had to run it while the surface was still wet. Can't wait until I get new tires. I think that is going to help out a lot. My times were 53.6xx, 52.2xx, and 51.6xx + 2 cones. Oh well. It is all good. Just there to learn. Next event is Feb. 24th, 2008. I am currently working on getting some new tires. Maybe another month or so and then I'll put in a new order for tires.
January 9th, 2008 - 7:18 PM
Hi all. The track day was awesome. I had a blast. There is a whole story to it and everything. If you would like to read about it, you can click here.
For some bigger pictures of the event, you can click here.
That's really about it. Just some misc. updates here and there.
January 2nd, 2008 - 5:14 PM
Hi all. Happy New Year. Haven't updated in awhile. A few things. The new front pads and rotors are in now. No need to worry about that any more. Just need to bed the pads in and I am good to go. Second is that the track day this coming Sunday. Should be fun to run the "L" and see how it'll perform. Going to be really underpowered, but it'll be fun. I'll take this opportunity to learn how to drive and see where I can make some adjustments for the suspension. I am hoping to get a chance to ride with Henry@MachIII, in the GST L, and hopefully some of the other people's rides.
On another note, SFR SCCA auto-x dates have been kind of posted. I'll update my calendar with those dates in the near future.
I am out. Take it easy.
December 1st, 2007 - 10:12 PM
Hi all. Just added some pics from the FIA meet today. Take a look at them here.
November 16th, 2007 - 10:42 AM
Hi all. Just a quick update. I did get my lateral links in. Finally!! Thanks to Sam and Eddie for helping me out. Definitely had a fun time. Now, I am waiting on a package of a replacement camber bolt from LIC. Once I get that in, I'll be able to install it and have Auto Innovations align my car. I really hope that you guys support all the local shops in town, especially the guys at Auto Innovations. They are awesome.
My next project will replacing my pads and rotors for the front. I am going to wait until mid-December to do that. Probably going to order everything at the beginning of next month. Still need to prep the car for a track day in January. Should be fun. In the process of organizing an install fest for next month. We'll see how it goes.
On another note... I did some calculations for Auto-X expenses for the season. If I were to do 12 events, it'll be looking that I'll be spending upwards of $600 for registration and gas. I am hoping that someone will either sponsor me or buy ad space off the car. Not really asking for them to pick up the cost of the whole thing, but a few bucks here and there would definitely make this number less intimidating. I was thinking I could get someone to sponsor me a tire. Get four tires and I'll have a new set of tires. I dunno... we'll have to see.
